Default Quilting brings me to my "happy place"

I was talking with someone this week about my quilting. She doesn't have hobbies, except reading...but as we were talking she asked "Does quilting bring you to your Happy Place?" And I said that, yes, it really does make me happy when I am able to quilt. I had always said that quilting is my passion, and that I love to quilt...but had never thought of it like my friend asked...but from now on...I will. Quilting really does bring me to my "Happy Place!"

How about you?

Yes definitely. I think of it as my "space" where I can get away from everything.

Yes, mine too - but I also love to read so that works too.

Me three! I am definitely much happier with even a small amount of quilting time. Helps me to relax before bed. Unless I have binding to work on at lunch I do counted cross stitch - coworker walked by and said what a great stress reliever but rum & coke work too - I like my way better, not much of a drinker but chocolate is another matter completely!

Me too. As you can see by my tag line quilting is my therapy. I'm a happier person because of it.

Me too! I use it as a way to relax and unwind. I find this is my creative outlet. I haven't thought of this as going into my happy place - but what a great description.
