You get the curve effect by using different widths of fabric(logs) to do the log cabin blocks. I have never seen one done as well as that one though.

Very interesting. I played around just a little bit in EQ7 using log cabin blocks with different widths on each side and came up with this. The design can be improved by changing the coloring and orientation of that one block. (They're the same blocks that Barnbum uses in her floral log cabins.)
