Have you ever bought fabric & the cutter mishandled it, didn't smooth it out & folded it crooked. When that happens it hurts my heart! How crazy is that ! I want my fabric cut with TLC!

Yes, makes me upset also especially when one is so careful with their treasured fabrics!

Uhh, no. Life's too short to spend it upset, insulted and outraged over every tiny thing. Be happy you get to buy fabric!

I was at joanns and watched while two cutters tried to straighten bolt cuts someone else just hacked. Some of the repairs were 6 to 8 inches wide. I wanted o scoop all the scraps and run, but the really don't let you do that! Such a waste!

I don't understand why store managers don't teach cutters to cut right and see that they follow through. It cuts into the profit for the store to waste so much fabric.

You don't want to go to Paducah during quilt week if this bothers you. Regardless of the store (or tent) you are visiting, the fact is there are so many people and long lines (despite scores of cutters) that the bolts are not handled with TLC at all.

It doesn't bother me a bit as long as I get at least the yardage I purchased.

I bought some fabric from ebay and was I disappointed. The seller cut the fabric with scissors and cut like she was 5 years old. What a mess. I left it in the package. It wasn't folded correctly and there wasn't much I could do with it but maybe get a FQ out of a yard. Am very selective now. I've had excellent experiences with other ebayers.
