My SO has never minded going to fabric stores, and is usually a good help when there. We were up at Lolly's, (Shipsawanna) earlier today and I found 3 fabrics I really liked, but didn't see anything else right away. Next thing I know, here he comes with a bunch of bolts that he had gone around the store gathering up to see if any would work And 2 of them was just what I needed He's a keeper, and oh yeah, a pretty good guy with the vacuum cleaner.

I am not into punishing either, but my DH almost never deserves it.

I must be blessed. My husband locates quilt stores for me! He drives me to them, carries bolts of fabric around, pays for what I purchase, and puts it in the car. When we get home, he even washes my fabric! He is the greatest!

Well, it's a girl thing, men do not understand us, so forgive him as it is the right thing to do. Laughing here.

Although some of those containers in the tackle store are great for storage of small items.
Lol, too funny! I keep my buttons in tackle boxes that are stored in sections by size.

My hubby goes with me and HE ends up buying more than I do!! He is very generous to get me anything I want. I have to be very careful to not say anything about something or else he buys it for me and we are not rich!! I keep trying to explain that to him. He is definately a keeper in more ways than one.

Prissinboots, I admire your playful relationship with your husband. And I immediately understood the "buy it for the articles" remark. If my husband and I are traveling, he willing goes to fabric shops with me. But at home, we both prefer for me to go without him. Anyway, I'm surprised at some of the responses you've received.

I'm lucky, the ladies at Mary Jo's give my husband a hard time too! It's all in fun and he plays along with it too.

I think some folks are taking the word "punishment" too dang seriously.
