How to make wood floors shiny?
#31
well, My BFF's mother used furniture polish. However I need to add that my friends son who was about 15 at the time nearly broke his neck when he stepped on the floor. Needles to say BFF had to redo her mother's "help".
good luck.

Hardwood Floor Cleaner
My husband and I sanded and poly'd our home's original hardwood floors some months ago (house built in 1900). I've been using Murphy's Oil squirt and mop and the floors are just sooooooo dull. Does anyone know of a product that will actually bring some shine back into them??? I'd hate to have to polyeurethane again since our dogs make that whole drying process a bit difficult!!
This worked beautifully on my hardwood floors.
1/4 Cup Vinegar
1 tsp Dish Soap
1/4 Cup Soda (Either washing or baking sodas will work)
Mix with 2 Gallons of hot water.
This mix will help remove the residue left by Murphy's Oil Soap.
Good luck !
