The original Insane block is a bit different. I drew this on in EQ5, it's PP, otherwise I wouldn't have done it

DHMom ... would have been a good way to prep this innocent Brit before he headed off to Uni!

Spike is Done ...........
Despite the pics, it is nice and square, or perhaps I should say hexagonal!
Putting it on the plants kind of wonkified it.

All the greys are from the new (to me!) Shimmer line from Northcott. (Not to be confused with the Robert Kaufman line also called Shimmer). If you have not seen these fabrics ... you MUST and add them to your stash! They have oodles of colours with many different tones and pattern designs in each colour group. I could have brought home even more of the greys, for more tones. The background (again Shimmer) is a soft dove grey, with just that little bit of bling. All have that nice subtle bling to them!! The dark burgundies are three different ones from my stash.

Will soon be wrapped, and ready as a thank you gift on Wednesday.

So how are you going to HQ that block, Anael? You may have to get a pliers out to pull the needle through!

Nice Spike, QE Love the geometric quilting.

Not really catching up, but I am here, kind of.

MaryKatherine - more great work.
Wow, Anael. Gorgeous work. Love the red and white. Wonder why that might be. Can't possibly have anything to do with me being Canadian. Must be that it is a very clean look, with lots of contrast.
QuiltE - Spike looks great, especially in a garden setting. Hmmm, those fabrics sound like I may need to find some.

This group has talent in abundance.

Me, been super busy with craft fairs and now year-end. But, managed to get Franky, 4 Amigos and 2 car quilts off to the car and quilt show which is next weekend. Don't know if I will be able to go see my quilts on display but I can be guaranteed there won't be others like them.
And, even managed to get my challenge block back to the store.
Challenge fabric:

And my block. It may look rather familiar. Yes, I hand stitched buttonhole stitch around the leaves and tree. Talk about fiddly but I'm happy with how it turned out. Once again, I'm pretty sure it will be unique use of the challenge fabric.
