I'm torn between no sashing and the gold sashing - good luck!

I think it's far more powerful without any sashing at all. The sashing, especially the last two, interrupts the flow of that leopard print, I think, and makes it much less dramatic.

So, no sashing at all, imo. Lovely blocks, by the way! Great combination of the black/white western print with the leopard! Can't wait to see the whole thing finished.

I noticed that some intersections are off also. I think the yellow/gold or black sashing works best. No red.

I vote no sashing. It creates an interesting sub pattern

I am the "odd man out" on this one--I really like the dark red sashing... I think it shows up the blocks much more. Good luck with whatever you choose, and remember there are NO quilt police so whatever you do it is going to be just lovely.

I like the first, with no sashing. I like the way it flows together.

In my opinion - no sashing. Lovely colours - it will be a stunning quilt.

I'd say no sashing! But I agree with Tartan, if they don't line up......I just finished a basket weave, was so careful, the blocks don't line up! I'll probly donate it!

I agree with no sashing. The secondary pattern is great!
