Default Embroidery thread storage problem solved :-)

Thread storage for my embroidery thread has been a problem since I purchased my machine a few years ago.
First, I tried the little ones you get at JoAnne's but they just aren't big enough and spools fell off often. I also tried the plastic trays with the pins in it to hold them in place but the plastic breaks easily--I am bull in china shop, if it can be broke I manage it. Then my sweet hubby built me a peg board type which was great but then we sold our house and moved to a rental and I couldn't put my big heavy board up so had to come up with a new plan. My hubby has a 3D printer and took it upon himself to design the perfect thread holder and I think he did. Each printed holder holds five spools of thread and attaches to wall with the 3M Command strips so there will be no damage to wall when we move in a few years. I am so happy to have my thread on the wall again :-)

Fred's had a small 6 drawer cabinet for less than 30.00. It works great for my embroidery thread, and keeps the dust out better than if I had them on the wall. I like your solution, but I have way to much dust where I live on a county road. The little cabinet also has wheels on the bottom so it will roll around if I need to move it.

Wow, I would love my own 3D printer. Your thread storage looks great.

He loves having a 3D printer. He got it last year when he had a dirt bike accident that broke his foot. After that happen he sold both his dirt bikes and got the printer, made me a way happy wife hate those dirt bikes. He really can print some neat stuff :-)
