I give all of you who are doing or have done this Celtic solstice quilt!! I personally love scrappy quilts but the kind that are a little more " free"! The controlled scrappy that this is made of, I think, would drive me berserk.......too much sorting, deciding, whatever.....

good thing the saying 'cut a few, assemble a few', then 'cut a few, assemble a few later' kept running thru my mind. I started assembling a few, and realized I had sewn my 'chevrons with the yellows touching' on the last bunch I sewed together. NOOOO, the whites are suppose to touch!!!!!! easy rip out.

Caroline, your scrappy CS turned out wonderful. I have only made two blocks for mine but for now it is on the back burner. I have saved as many of the pictures of everyone's as I can though so when I do start mine, I will have some comparisons to look at for border ideas and if and when I get discouraged. Kudos to all of you who have finished yours. I will join your group in a year or two! LOL!
