I'd say a fair price. Model 15s tend to be listed for a little more than other machines in this market. But still given that it's stuck and there's no case or cabinet I wouldn't call it a bargain.

That’s what I thought too. I don’t see them come up on eBay (or anywhere else) very often. And when they do, they usually go for more than that. I was surprised to see that it was a Buy It Now auction too.
I’ve seen several (genuine) Singer boss-mount handcranks go for that amount or more in the past few months.
I’m really anxious for it to get here.

So, if you research your item to get a value, then offer the item for 4 times that amount, some buyers that really want an item may unknowingly Buy It Now (@4x), others may Make an Offer for half of the asking price (@2x), and you can accept offers that are a quarter of the asking price (@1x). You can cover all of the different buyers, and have a pretty good markup on every item that you sell.

In my limited experience watching CL, prices for 15s are all over the map, from free to $300. My 15-90 in very good condition was $15. My 15-91 in excellent condition was $50. Both came in the same type of table (neither of which is in good shape) and neither came with feet/attachments.
I've seen a recurring 15-91 ad for $250 in Aberdeen claiming "I know what these are worth." Well, they're only worth what someone is willing to pay. Sure it's in great condition but so is mine:
Was I just lucky? Or just patient?

Here's an unusual one. A long bobbin Kenmore. I think it's the only one I've seen. Almost looks like a refurb. http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/art/4695899003.html Rodney
