ugly cabinet with very solid looking Dressmaker made by Matsushita http://denver.craigslist.org/for/5347981891.html at least a decent price.

Why is it that adjustable hemmers are usually in two parts? Curious as to why they think "eight hard to find sewing attachments" I do actually see eight regular attachments, but then they have the long item in the picture on the left and I can't tell what it is. http://denver.craigslist.org/atq/5350376000.html

Janey, now why on Earth would you say the cabinet is ugly? Those Japanese machines from the days before knobs turned to plastic are the best.

"Hard to find" implies "and you found it!" Who can resist that?

LOL why? because it is ugly! in my book "not very pretty" = "UGLY"

I've found many of them - some with machines and some without. I still want to know what that long thing is with screw in back/front/side.

I guess facetious isn't as easy to do in print as I thought. "Ugly" is being kind.

It looks like a presser-foot bar.

LOL - great minds. I've got lots of things that are hard to find: glasses, car keys, receipts, etc.

I was pretty sure that was how it was intended. Yes, that is being kind.

I thought so at first but the screw is at the end of something that look like an old sliding ballpoint pen clip.
