My favorite quilted gift this year made just from my stash
I found a set of Christmas checkers at the dollar store with a cheap plastic playing surface. I have a dear friend who loves checkers, and I was assigned to fill a stocking for him this year. (Goodies, little gifts, apple , orange, nuts, etc.) I went through my stash looking for fabrics that would go with the checkers. I found a Christmas print with the green in it, and the reddish/orange color and solid looking green are a fairy frost FQ I bought in a bundle some time ago, and the backing was just a piece of the right size I found in my stash. Here is the finished board. Everyone played checkers Christmas Day, so I think it was a hit!
