Default Opinons & Input Please

Hi Everyone: Some of you will probably cringe when I ask this questions as I know there has been a lot of discussion in the past about the use of Frixion pens and washable markers used on quilt tops.

My question is, if you used any method of marking your quilt, have you had a problem removing the marking if you've first treated your fabric with Retayne? I actually laid awake last night thinking about this. I am finishing a quilt top that for the first time ever, I pretreated the red fabrics with Retayne. Could the ingredients/chemicals used in the Retayne make any kind of marking also permanent? Maybe I'm over thinking this. I will definitely do a couple of "tests" before committing to any kind of marking, but would appreciate your input. Thanks so much.

I believe all quilt fabric is treated with a dye set chemical. I don't think the Retayne will cause a problem.
