PenniF, I love all of your fishies in your tropical reef quilt!

I did not do any quilting yesterday...am I bad? I got caught up in other things. It was raining all day, so we had limited electricity. (We're 100% off the grid.) I plan to go back and tackle that scallop binding. It's slow going.

BTW, are we including Monday as part of the weekend? It is President's day.

Great projects and photos... keep them coming! I too hope we can continue this through tomorrow... Long weekend, and all.

After all the inspiration here and perusing Pinterest for an hour, I'm ready to sew!

I will join you this afternoon. I am working on Storm at Sea for my DGS for graduation in May. Having to work by hand because of my back. I am using Inklingo so the stitching line is printed on the fabric making it possible for me to go back and forth between hand and machine piecing. I have 26 of 72 blocks done. Chris chose the pattern and colors. Here is some of my progress:

The quilt binding isn't going very fast but every minute I sit down I work at it. I am also (shhh) slipping in some embroidery time on the name tags I'm doing for a quilt retreat at the end of the month. Loaded a quilt on longarm this am but probably won't start it til tomorrow. Meeting with quilting client at 1:30. Then it's back to binding.

Lots going on. I didn't sew yesterday but I sewed this morning for about an hour. I have been zig zagging applique on some small wallhangings. I have been working on March, April, May and June. I am going to hang all 4 and then trade out one month at a time.
