I'd love one of those, and think I'll never have one (unless I somehow become rich!)

It's a beauty, but they were made in Manchester (that's in England).

    Glad you are getting those.

If the weather holds, I'll be picking up a W&G tomorrow. It's 3 hours away and DH decided a road trip would be fun, and it will be safer not shipped. Mine is electric with the case and lots of extras. The machine is not in super great condition and it does not have the original footpedal, but I'm happy - I figure what I paid covers the case and extras - even if I end up buying a nicer machine at some time. Though if the one I get works fine, I probably won't. My goal is to have examples of machines from specific mfg - it's not required it be the most prestine example I can find.

I went and looked - the add for your W&G is still up LOL!!

I really like sewing one my early W&G treadle. I am really looking forward to seeing if the hand mechanism is as silent as the machine itself... I already have a complete W&G accessory set (+ a couple extra bits)

The Jones should clean up well. I am already hunting extra shuttles and bobbins.... I hope this will be my go to travel handcrank...
