Default Paduka bound

Any one going to be in Paduka April 25th? We will be taking a bus trip from Springfield, Ill. Think we will only have about 1/2 day to check things out. It has changed since I went several years ago. Where to head for first when we get there?? I like it all but usually look at quilts first for ideas. Want to look at the Inova long arms while there. It will be a really long day as we live near Peoria, Ill and leave Springfield at 6:30 in the morning.

I'd love to go too! Why don't you stop in Centralia on your way south and pick me up.

I would love to go but it's a LOOOONG journey from California!

I'm hoping next year my aunts will be over some health issues and the three of us can go together, though.

Make sure the bus driver know how to spell the city or you'll never find the right place on the map: Paducah.

Sorry carolstickelmaier, I couldn't resist! EVERYONE spells it incorrectly. And yes, I looked before I typed to make sure I was spelling it correctly. It is a funny spelling; like MY name!

Sunnye, Yep I knew it did not look right when I typed it but was in a hurry and did not take time to look up but you all knew what I was talking about. LOL P.S. I like your name.

You lucky people going to the Paducah quilt show. I have been three times in the past and if things were different I would go again. But not to be. Enjoy

1/2 day you will only have time to see the quilts in the show. There is Eleanor Burns tent show and sale, Handcock's, mall vendors, museum, main quilt show and vendor, $5 quilt book warehouse, downtown Quilt in a Day, American Legion Hall quilt exhibit, historic downtown quilt shops. It would be hard to pick just one.
