Default Fabric storage reorg

Check out my weekend project. I don't have the stash that some of you have, but I have one bookcase devoted to fabric. It was looking rather sloppy, so I spent most of the weekend folding fabric. My neck and shoulders are sore, but it was worth it! I think it is pretty now.

Good job! It is easier to pull one if they are stacked like books. You could try it.

good job. I wrap mine around the bolt cardboard from Joann's. They just throw it away. I cut it into 4 pieces and wrap and stand it on end in my cupboards. I will need to buy a couple more of them if DH ever gets my room built.

Great job! I know it is a task, but you sure feel better when you look at it afterwards!

I do this and the comic book boards. Especially if you're lucky enough to get the end of the bolt, then you have a lot of information if none is on the selvage edge. Take a photo of the fabric with the bolt info.

That looks great. Mine was in the shape yours was and I bought the little plastic boxes for it. Much better now. Yours looks so inviting and professionally folded. Happy sewing to you.
