Default Looks like a 201-2, but .....

....... it's got extra levers and rods on the back side of it. What model would this be?

Huh. Well that's interesting. No idea there. I'll be curious to see if someone knows exactly what is going on with those added bits.

Ok I am intrigued.....I have seen that set up of the treadle portion before but don't remember any detail. The one time you wish they would show a full back side photo, they don't. It certainly looks like a 201 in all other ways...so I will be looking forward to the experts on here to inform us.

I like the 201-2s. I don't like the button foot controllers or the knee bar set up they use in most Singer cabinets. But that pseudo treadle set up intriques me. The canvas cover says "Singer Professional Model". So I'm wondering if the machine is sort of a light industrial or a domestic machine set up for light duty commercial use.

I almost wish I was in WA to go for it. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not.

I think that’s a Singer 1200 in an Artisan Table, Joe. It’s basically a Singer 201 with a knee-lift presser bar.

That’s like one of the ones I mentioned that I had passed up in Kansas a few years ago....

CD,
Other than the knee lift presser bar is there any other differences between the 201 and the 1200?

Caroline,
Thanks for the information. Maybe someday one will pop up in my area.
I won't tell anyone about it .....

Nice looking machine if it was cleaned up. Looks like the question has already been answered. The extra rods look like a knee lift to me. Good thing I'm not currently in the market. Besides if I'm going to go with an industrial table I want a bigger machine to go with it.
