    I'm Sheryl and I've technically been a member since the end of June, but with the busy summer that I've had, I've been in lurker mode.

    I collect vintage sewing machines and I've learned so much from the folks on that forum, and acquired my latest machine, a Kenmore 117, from another member. (Thank you so much, Carol! )

    Now that the summer and my busy schedule are both winding down, I've got some sewing projects planned. One of my projects is making a couple of rag quilts for my brand new twin grandsons. I've sewn for years but I've never done any quilting, so I'm looking forward to hanging out a bit and learning some things from all of you!
