Default Recommend quilt shops in/near Denver CO

Will be tagging along with hubby on a trip to Denver, appreciate suggestions on quilt shops worth going to. I am not into civil war or wool. Thanks for sharing.

A couple of my favorites Holly's Quilt Cabin in Centennial, High Prairie Quilts in Parker, B-Right-On in Brighton just north of Denver oodles of good quilt shop quality fabric and all fabric is $9/yd all the time including batiks except for the wide backing fabric, and minkey type fabric. Have a great and safe trip.

Try "Wooden Spools" on S Broadway. It's a small shop, but there prices are half what other stores charge. They carry mostly older fabrics, but they are good quality.

Quilter's Stash in Windsor (north of Denver) is nice.

When I was in Denver I just asked the LQS owner where the other quilt shops were and she drew me a map! Since I had a rental car and time I went as far as the quilt museum in Golden. I had a great time. If you can, I highly recommend the golden quilt museum. Take you cell phone or camera with you.

Thanks everyone. Last year spent a day in Golden, but I won't have a full day to shop, will certainly use your suggestions.

Wooden Spools on S. Broadway purchases leftover quilt quality fabric from local quilters then sells it. I cannot tell you how much money I have saved there. Everyone is knowledgeable and nice. I have shopped at most of the quilt shops mentioned above and they are all wonderful. I hope you will enjoy your trip. Word of caution, we are expecting a light snow tonight so pack accordingly.
