Traveling South to Florida from Michigan quilt shops I have to visit
Hi Everyone I tried searching for quilt shops in the south and I know they are a couple have to visit shops.
I should have saved them but never anticipated that I would be able to go to any of them. Well we are driving from Michigan to Florida in early March and I would love to visit some of your favorite shops. I have been a member for a long time and have learned so much and enjoyed the beauty of your quilts. I still consider myself a beginner, but my fabric stash would say otherwise.lol
Thanks for your suggestions .

Balagna5- if you go near the Clearwater Beaches across from Tampa Bay there is a very well know quilting shop on US17 and SR 580 in Dunedin called " Rainbows End " . Well worth a visit and quite close the Countryside Mall area which is also on SR580 in Clearwater, Fl.

Check out "The County Register" it's online and in quilt shops by state once you get into a state. It has lots of shops listed and shop hops that may be going on. What I like about it, is that you are guaranteed that the shops are still in business if they are advertising. If you're getting to the FL panhandle, I recommend A & E Pharmacy in Pensacola and Quilting by the Bay in Panama City.

I guess it depends on your route. If you are going through Pensacola, fl. A&E Drugs on New. Warrington (yes I know - sounds weird but they have a huge quilting department). Otherwise, I second the Fabric Art show in Lake City or the Sewing Studio in Maitland fl.
