Default Pineapple Trim Ruler

Have you tried Creative Grid's Pineapple Trim Ruler and is it worth the $25 purchase price?

I took the class using the Pineapple Trim Tool with its designer Jean Ann Wright. She is a wonderful teacher, infusing her teaching with "quilting nuggets" all along the way, clear directions, calm demeanor, you can't go wrong taking a class from her. She also has some Youtube videos that will help you with this and other tools she has designed. Enjoy!

I think you will be happy with that ruler -- I saw it a demo using it and it looked like it was an awesome technique. Someday I will get one too.

I just watched YouTube demo on this ruler...looks interesting, but also a bit confusing.....but I guess like anything else, once you do it, it makes sense. I would like to do a pineapple, I think it would be a great scrappy. I have looked at Eleanor burns video on it too....still haven't decided which way to go....

Can you use the ruler for anything else??? Lot of money for a one trick pony.

I bought it tonight at my LCS for $18, tax included. They were having a 25% off sale. I'm not a ruler collector but I really like this one; I can envision using up lots of scraps with this ruler.
