Default Sashing assistance needed

I found these hand-pieced blocks in my church's quilting group's stash today. I find them beautiful and offered to put the quilt top together for our quilting group to hand quilt. I thought perhaps something to match the centers which are cheddarish. Suggestions?

Not sure I have the pic in the correct size.

We all have our own opinions, but I think the darkest color in the pinwheels, navy blue (I believe), would be a good sashing color. It would really set the blocks off. Maybe you could use a cheddar cornerstone in the sashing. Just my thoughts. I think it will be a very pretty quilt. It's nice of you to volunteer to finish the project.

Looks pretty like it is -- you really don't need sashing unless you want to make it bigger.

I wouldn't add sashing if it was mine to do. The blocks are fine the way they are. I would put a couple of borders on it though.

If it is big enough now I wouldn't add sashing I like it this way.

Count me as a no-sash vote, also. I think they're beautiful the way they are.

Count me in on the No Sashing vote. I would only add a dark outer border, navy, drk gray or black.

I wouldn't add dashing, but I would add two borders a narrow dark one and the a broader one in of the brights, I think this would make it pop. X

Another vote for no sashing. It's lovely. Someone really did a lot of amazing work to hand piece all of those blocks. Nice plan to hand quilt it as well.
