I can't believe no one said 'chocolate' but I won't go there. But we all love projects like that. I would add time to get if all finished lest it become an UFO.

Oh yes, definately a glass of wine or perfectly brewed coffee......and my favourite classical music or arias playing in my CD player.

So - what contributes to your "perfect" sewing experiences?
The binding was neatly on a roll and ready to go! The label was done (before the quilt). The binding joined perfectly on the first try. The cats didn't meow constantly to be fed. All my Christmas gift projects were done and neatly displayed on a shelf to admire.

The one thing I would add is "no phone calls - specifically unwanted calls".
