I would use the white, but I would decrease the inner border width by 1/2. Then I might add a yellow border about 2 x as wide as the white and then end with the green. I think you need the contrast of the white to keep the yellow squares on the edges more defined, but just not so much of the inner border. It remains an individual choice. What do YOU like?

iLife the white. The yellow seems to overpower the quilt blocks so that all you see is yellow. The white highlights the quilt better.

Have you seen the Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorial on Flange Binding? Maybe you could do something like that but with a border...sort of a very small "loose" border strip. I also like Jan's idea.

I like the yellow. It would be nice if the yellow had a little pattern in it...even small polka dots.

Checkerboard white and yellow - good idea - also maybe piano border? Otherwise, if you want a solid, I would suggest the white.
