Default I've come a long way.

Hi from Florida. Many years ago my sister taught me how to quilt by hand. Recently one of my granddaughters ask me to make her a quilt. Why sure I said, I would love to make you one. For the first time I am using a pattern and I am looking forward to learning more and having fun quilting. And yes; I will be using a sewing machine and not just a needle and thread. Time to grow

Welcome from Southern California. I wish my Grandmother who taught me how to sew also quilted but her younger half sister taught me how to quilt. Enjoy the time sharing quilting with her. I have been quilt for almost 30 years and I am still learning and growing with my favorite hobby.
