    Default Ribbon Box Quilt

I made this quilt for my new granddaughter last year. It's my favorite quilt of all those I've made. The colors her mom requested were mint green and peach. I added some gray (the wall color) and a bit of yellow. I had the quilting done at a LQS.
This pattern is unique in that you don't make blocks to sew together. You cut all the pieces and arrange them in rows to sew together. The cutting and arranging take the most time. Once you start sewing it goes very quickly...no borders. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
This pattern is called "The Ribbon Box Quilt" by Cloud 9. Here is a link.

The quilting really emphasizes the ribbon "weave".

Absolutely love your quilt! The fabric colors are wonderful and the quilting really sets off that pattern. Thanks so much for the link to the actual pattern. And there are several more on that page which I really like too.
