Default 2 WIP's

I've been busy lately! I'm making a Marilyn Monroe quilt for my daughter-in-love. We decided on the borders last night. I'm going to use the pink/black for the inner border and piano key of the black/white/grey fabrics for the outer border:

I've also been working on a r/w/ churndash. I was in an exchange in 2012 and used most of the blocks for this top. I'm going to do a vine w/flowers and leaves (all in r/w) on the border:

Very nice! I love red and white quilts in particular, so love that one more!

Very nice, both of them! The Marilyn Monroe one is gorgeous and I love the sashing! The churn dash is very striking and on my "to do" list!

Norma jean would have loved this quilt of her. How cute is that. I love everything about it.
The churn dash is lovely too. I can't wait to see the floarl border you have planned for it.

Looks like you solved your problem with the MM quilt. Can't wait to see the finished quilt. It is very beautifully done.

The setting for the MM quilt was really neat. I, too, like two-color quilts and you have produced two wonderful quilts.
