Try this again; had a power failure, reason unknown. Yes, I have a place to put a long arm, a used one might be the answer. Am trying to investigate the possibilities which seem endless. I would like to sit down at it and work.. . for myself. It would be nice to take lessons in DM At the Heart of Quilting. Like the company just North of Cedar Rapids.
So sorry to hear of your DSis health problems, Ok. There seems to be a season for each of us, but we never want to lose a loved one...we want them to live forever.
Tomorrow will set up my Grace quilting rack because I can tie the quilts on it. Seems I have a second try at enjoying the process of quilting...will see what pans out....if I can get to DM during the Quilt show there. One step at a time. If it is to be, it will be. Have great moments with those you love, because this too shall pass...

The hand stitch Grace frame is missing key pieces. Have contacted them for help. Now they need a picture of what I have. Will do that soon.
Another milestone I never dreamed of seeing: my 75th Birthday. Thanks QB for wishing me Happy Birthday. Something DH never does...more like what are are you going to do for mine in January??? He has decided whatever I buy, fabric or books he should get the same money to spend as well.... There has to be a silver lining in that cloud somewhere. Seems that makes any LA just a dream. That's life in our homestead. I will figure out something...except I don't plan on buying anything for a couple of months....time will tell if I can then.

Well Happy Birthday, Nina Sue. A milestone indeed!
Okay folks....we gotta watch Jeanie's bank account...she's going to be down at the LQS buying fabric left and right!!!! Whoo who!
Will be a busy week...worked M&T and have book work today...tomorrow's a dental appt and then work F&S. Area Shop starts today. I've been building little houses...need 221 for my project, but have 248 cut out so will sew them up. I have about 10 door and window units to add roof and sky to and will have ready to start putting together. I can get 5 roof and sky units attached in about an hour. I know I could build a real house faster than this! Oh well can't wait to get this done!

OK, hope to see your houses soon. Too bad we cannot just blink up thousands of tiny houses for the hurricane victims this year and the homeless vets of our country. Some can be build for $25,000, Austin, Ix seems to be producing quickly.

Good news is that gas has reached PR that needed it so bad. Hospitalized people have been moved to the mainland by plane. I call that progress. May it continue in all areas of Hurricane victims. Weather channel also showed a small business up and running again, giving his employees work again in Houston. Unfortunately, it will take many months before they are up and going again in hurricane areas.
