Default attempt at a folded wreath

After looking at some of other's posting of their folded wreath, i think something is "amiss" with mine. Is it the fabric or did I actually do something wrong. I had it all packaged up to mail and had to undo it so it is a little "squashed".

I like the magenta color. You may need a darker color for the background, or one with more of a contrast to the magenta. It looks correctly pieced though, although it's hard to tell with the fabrics you have.

    Your fabric looks great
I have never made one.. but look how the buttons are on. Aren't they supposed to be up on top? It looks like yours have them coming straight up to a point

IMHO the two fabrics lack contrast. Perhaps one fabric could be a larger patter or a solid. I like the colors, though.

It doesn't look like your center pieces, the dark pink, stand up as much as the others that I've seen posted here.

Great bright colors. It seems, from the ones show on the QB, that the circle opening in the middle is usually larger that the circle in yours. I want to make one of those.

I think the colors of your circles are too competitive with each other. Perhaps a solid color would tame the whole thing. I do like the colors, however I think they are fighting with each other. I made one of these and think picking the colors is the hardest part. I had a really hard time, and I'm still not sure if the colors are pleasing. Sue

What did you use for the stabilizer? That makes a big difference. On another site a few starch the fabric and one made her Christmas wreath and is storing it in a box with tissue paper. Did you use the origami pattern from the video or buy the pattern. I got my patterns from my local quilt shop. They also had the Bosal stabilizer. Since they will be my first I wanted to use exactly what the pattern suggested. Then I could adjust later.

The opening of the center is to small. Your measure of the markings are incorrect, this creates a small opening in the middle. Correct it and the bloom will separate more. That makes it look not so pushed together.

I can't help you but it seems with everyone's opionion that the fabrics aren't the best. People have posted that the directions are hard to follow. This is the reason that I am putting this on my bucket list. Maybe a corrected easier to follow pattern will be posted!!! Hoping
