Default Peanut butter cookies

Does anyone have a good peanut butter cookie recipe that you top with a Hershey kiss? Mine always get hard after sitting awhile.

I usually under cook by a minute and then always store in a plastic container with a slice of bread. But even better than a Kiss is to cut a mini Snickers in half and then mold the PB dough around it. Yum!!

Peanut Butter Blossoms ( small cookies)

1/2 cup shortening (I use Becel margarine)
3/4 cup creamy Peanut Butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup lt. Brown sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-P. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt

graulated sugar and Hershey's mini Kisses

check these ingredients against your recipe.

Honestly I've always used my regular peanut cookie recipe and popped on a Hershey's Kiss or a mini Reese"s peanut butter cup upside down after baking. It looks like the Blossom recipe rolls the balls in sugar before baking. Are they criss crossed like regular pb cookies! I like the criss cross marks - used to do the same thing on mud pies when I was little 😁😁

Sandy in Mooresville, NC but in upstate NY for Thanksgiving.

Thank you for asking, I want to make some this year. We have 2 advent calendars that we use the Kisses and there are always a lot left over and I thought these would be a nice thing to make.

This is the recipe I've been using for years! Love it cuz there's not a lot of ingredients:
2 cups Bisquick
3/4 cup Peanut Butter
1 can Eagle Condensed Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
Mix---roll in balls ---then sugar. Bake 6 - 8 min. at 375. Kiss while hot-----delish!
