Man I wish I was in Arizona to find one of those beauties.

Did you go to the website for ...."Ifoundaquiltedheart" ? It is also great fun when someone posts it on that site. Some come from really great stories. <3 QUOTE=MizMelly;7994125]Here is what I did with some of my candies from last year's swap! I quilted a "sheet" of candies, then cut into 4.5" squares and used my AccuQuilt die to cut all of them out. I have 25 of the 4" ones and a few 3" ones. Now to stitch ribbons and buttons on them and distribute. Thanks, Barb for the great idea using our candies!

Btw... I found a heart that someone else "sewed/sowed" I love it. So excite to get more people making them. Let us know if any of your hearts get turned in.

I started doing "I Found A Quilted Heart" a couple of weeks ago, and have "sowed" 5 or 6 so far. Nobody's posted that they found them yet, but I hope the finders enjoyed them. I used to paint rocks and hide them, which was really fun, but I'm a better quilter than a painter, so the hearts are more enjoyable to me.

I am almost done my birdie quilt. I am putting the binding on now, then will add some dresden flowers to the boarder and it will be done. It is made up of the 12 blocks in the thread and 18 more reflecting events in our family. Each block is surrounded by one birthday girl's gift. It is now bigger than a double size bed quilt. If you want to see any of the blocks up close, or know who's charms surround a particular block, let me know and I will share a close up of that block, the story behind the block, and who's charms they are. I'll post again in a month when it will be completely done. It was tons of fun to make, with all my children and son in law's contributing to the designs.
