Your welcome sorry it took so long to get there and for me to leave feedback I swear I thought I had already left some. I look forward to seeing the finished quilt.

Libster very pretty blocks, how large do you plan on making this top?

Jayne more fun blocks, lots of pretty colors.

These are the last of the 20 blocks I made for a swap, my assigned colors were yello and gold. At least 1 square had to have a splash of color

Terriamn, what fun blocks! Do all the blocks have the white star in them? That is going to be a really cool quilt!

Yes, they all have the white star Jayne, which is bleached Muslin so all the stars will be the same color.

Can’t wait to see all the other color combinations

Pretty blocks, Jayne!

Terri, love those stars! So pretty. I'm going to make myself a twin size quilt of 24 blocks with these. I just finished my last block. It's a Flying Dutchman. I'm going to be selfish this Boom and keep both groups for me! I'm using Sewbiz' 9 Patch swap blocks with hourglass blocks to make my other nephew's quilt for Christmas. These 3 quilts and Boom 21 blocks should keep me busy for a while.
Everybody's making such pretty blocks this Boom. Can't wait to get mine back!

Libster, that will be a beautiful quilt! I'm a selfish boomer, my first boom was my Christmas quilt, now 4th of July. Once I have a boom quilt for each holiday, I'll move on to something else! I haven't really made that many quilts, but my first boom quilt is the only one I've ever kept for me.

I'm just trying to decide what holiday to do next.

Love all the pretty yellows, Terri. And I like how it's a 16 patch, rather than a 9 patch, so the stars will all be offset. Are you trading colors with a group?

Hey, nothing wrong with keeping our quilts! I usually start off thinking I will give it away, and then sometimes change my mind when I see it.

I am sick with the flu-- day 4. I've been pretty miserable and pray for a short duration! I thought I might like to sit and hand quilt, so I got my Rest and Refreshing Civil War sampler quilt out and sandwiched it. Then, as I started hand quilting, decided I really don't like my hand quilting at all. It just isn't pretty. So I'm going to pick out what I hand quilted and do it on my machine... later. Note to self: Don't try to do anything while you are sick. Nothing comes out right!
