Default Oiling the motor on a slant stitch

I've read that you drop a drop of 30 wt. oil on something to quieten down the motor on a slant stitch machine. Where, exactly, do you put the oil?

Yes, it's down the motor shaft indicated by the green arrow. I have discovered a few experts recommended a couple of drop of triflow on the gears in connection with the motor drive too, and I guess it was to improve on old sticky machines to dissolve dried up grease, or as a quick solution to smoothen noisy machines.
