Default Whole Cloth quilt - attempt # 2 - finished!

All done!

Lessons learned from this one - stippling is the most boring thing ever. Especially micro stippling (I have the stitch on my machine, so it made it easy) But .. I would rather do straight lines than 10 hours of mind numbing stippling. It's as boring as watching embroidery LOL

2nd lesson - leave more room for binding at the edges. I didn't leave enough room so my corners are "rounded" ... Ah well, note for the next time.

Here's the end result ... it measures 40x40. I am quite pleased with it, and will definitely do another one ... probably not in white tho!

That micro stippling is tiny- lucky you had the stitch on your machine! I think a lot of bubbles are so tedious. Your quilting is amazing.

Wow, that's beautiful!!!!!!
I am still getting the hang of FMQ and I don't find it very easy at all. But I can stipple and agree that it's boring.
If I did what you did I'd be thrilled!

Yes! I will really do it again, but not with micro stippling! I will design something that has cross hatching or some other method of filling in the negative space!
