Default Cheap (but good) nail polish

I wear clear or slightly tinted nail polish but not finding economical products due to the current trends. I like “Profusion” but I’m not finding it in stores. Any help?

I don't wear polish on my nails, so I can't help you, sorry. Maybe someone else can...

I never heard of that brand. Do you know who makes it?
I wear polish all the time. It's my little treat for me. Lately I've been loving Zoya.

I stick with either Sally Hansen nail polish or O.P.I. nail lacquer when getting them done in a salon.

Bottle was in my Moms stuff when she passed away in 2013. It’s all the info I have except price tag $1.99. I’m sure she bought it at the little Drug Store in her town. I found it wears like iron.

I own probably (and I'm not kidding) at least 300 bottles of nail polish. It's a bit of an obsession with me. Sinful Nail Color is inexpensive and so is Sally Hansen. Sinful Colors used to have a pale pink color called Ballet Slippers. And OPI had a similar color called Shall We Dance. Sally Hansen has a French Manicure color that you'd probably like. Part of the key to getting nail polish to last is to reapply the top coat every 2 days. I find that darker colors tend to chip more easily. There are gel nail polishes that stay on for a long time. A special lamp is used after the polish is applied. My daughter had this done at the nail salon and it lasted about a month. The problem with that polish is that you have to almost use a sand-blaster to remove it. I did a search on Profusion nail polish, and eBay has some of that brand.

I love Sally Hanson, Champagne Toast # 220. Always use a clear top coat. I've worn this pale pink for years. I tip I learned a few years ago to help the polish stay on the nail is to wipe the nails with white vinegar before polishing. It helps to remove all old residue and oils. It works for me.

I tend to do my own pedicure and have found that preparing your nails is key to keeping the polish on. I use OPI Chip Skip on my nails first to get rid of all oils etc, then I use Orly Bonder. Then 2 coats of polish (I like OPI, Sally Hansen, China Glaze and Orly). As my top coat I use Orly Sec n'Dry and finally after the polish has been set for several hours Orly Won't Chip. I use a coat of Won't Chip once a week. My polish lasts almost a month and needs to only be replaced because of growing out. I usually do not wear polish on my finger nails ( too much gardening, boating and cleaning lol) and just keep them filed fairly short and buffed. For a special occasion I have gotten a gel polish manicure in a very light pink or french manicure at the salon. Those tend to last quite a while.
