Default Question Regarding DIY Quilted Vintage Christmas Stocking???

I have started to make a quilted Christmas Stocking. My question is - Do make the back of the stocking like the front or can it be made out of plain (satin) fabric?

Pretty front and you can make the back plain!

Lovely. I also made crazy patched stockings and patterned both sides. A solid backing would work too.

    How Pretty!

You can make it plain, or continue the patchwork crazy quilt method.

If it were me, I probably would match the back to the front, just because it is So pretty ...
Plus, our IRL stockings are the same front and back.

Remember, as is said for quilts ... Your stocking. Your way!
That's all that matters in the end!!

i guess it depends if the back will be seen. personally, i'd make the back match the front. your stocking, your choice.

No opinion on that.... but I do "love" your stocking front.... I am making a "girlie" stocking for my gr niece but it needs to have a bunny theme.... (yup... I know... it is Xmas...but that is Mommy's request).... thank you for posting your picture, maybe it will give me a kick start!
