LOL, Pet.... good job on that UFO.
I have some progress... Had a UFO of Winding Ways blocks that I might have mentioned before. I've been plugging away on the little blocks, bit by bit. Well, I have completed all 25 and I'm putting them together, so *progress!* is happening. Soon to be an FO. I think I'm going to sell my templates after this... too fiddly a block to use again!

Very nice SBG...you persevered! Blues and purples are lovely. This process not my "cup of tea", so even more so impressed with it!
I'm sorting some orphan blocks and trimming them. As I do this I'm thinking how to put them together in a quilt..most are country browns, greens and blues but don't want to go too dark with settings. Actually thinking of a Jen Kingwell style of setting. Any other ideas...blocks vary in size from 2 1/2 to 8 inch finished?

Just got home from a day at the barn- beautiful day and happy horses. May get a little sewing in this evening after I take a rest. I pulled out two UFOs last night. One was an experiment gone wrong and the other consisted of partially pieced strips. I cut the experiment gone wrong into strips and alternated the strips from the two. We’ll see if that works any better than either of them alone.

Yay! Finished a UFO!
A tumbler quilt I cut out ages ago and finally got around to putting together and quilting.

Love those colors- Nice finish, Watson! Congratulations on getting this one done. Was the binding hard to do?
I did a tumbler once, but I did a rattail edging which is easier to get around all those angles, but isn't as anywhere near as durable as a double fold binding, so mine is really only useable as a wall hanging. I've often thought about taking off trying to bind it but have to admit to being intimidated by anything other than a straight edge and 4 corners when it comes to binding.
