Default with / without buttons

Hi all!

I made this over the last couple of days, trying to use up my fabric scraps. I have to admit, I forgot a step when doing this, so my "middles" are not as clean as they should be (I forgot to fold down the squares before I ironed them all).

So I have added buttons ... what do you think?

Very nice colorful quilt, but I don't know about the buttons. They add visual interest, but may be uncomfortable to sleep with. I do love the cathedral windows and the borders!

Must admit, I am kind of pro buttons. I made a quilt for my daughter that included buttons. She loves it and had no problem sleeping with buttons on her quilt!

it's only 34x34 - so more of a lapquilt or a wall hanging!

As long as it is not for a baby I say keep the buttons. Really adds to the design

The buttons add more punches of texture and whimsy, and I would use them for a wall hanging. However, I think the buttons would be uncomfortable for any pet or child to sit on top of it in my lap. I'm always cognizant of buttons as choking hazards for pets and kids. But aesthetically, the buttons rock!

I really like the buttons, they really add a lot to the quilt. I think it turned out beautifully.
