Default Do You Celebrate when you finish?

Do you celebrate when you finish a quilt or a project? If so, how? I’ve developed a goofy celebration. I put the quilt in the washer, vacuum up all the little threads and then give the dogs a long-lasting chew treat. I get the first two things but I have no idea where the dog thing came from . Little wonder why at times they look at me and look at the quilt and probably think to themselves “I wonder when it’ll be done?!”

No celebration here, I just try to catch up on things I let slide when working on the project ! You have a better plan !

I guess my ( Celebration) would be cleaning up the sewing room, putting everything away from that project and hauling out what I need next. There is always another ufo waiting it’s turn to be quilted and a new quilt project to work on.

I don't do a celebration per se, but I do celebrate inside my head! I'm always so happy to have a quilt finished.

I do a "last stitch cheer" and then I go out to the back deck and try and wave off the threads and fluff before I wash it.

Then it's on to the next!

I might pay money to see that.

You certainly have a fun way to celebrate the completion of a quilt. I can picture your pups looking from the quilt to you and wondering if it’s done yet!

I don’t have a unique way to celebrate, but I love taking pictures of the finished product snd love the moment I give it away.

No celebration. I just keep going onto the next one. although I sometimes take a little break and vacuum or wash the dishes or cook.

I celebrate by taking a picture of the finished quilt, clean the sewing room and walk around the house like a lost puppy for a couple hours then go out for dinner with DH to celebrate my return to the big world outside the sewing room.
