Default Help needed on 10 minute table runner

My GS bought a home and has asked me to make a simple table runner for him. I want to do the 10 minute but I would like to put batting in it and have no idea how to begin. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for all the wonderful knowledge you are so willing to share.

Thank you Peckish for the link. It is exactly what I was looking for. Saw several but not as good explanation as this. Lindaschipper helped tremendously but the video made a big difference for my understanding of the process. Thank you again.

Sharon... She explains it so much better in the video than I did....wish I had known about this video when I made mine. As my husband says " I give lousy directions!"

Thank you Peckish for the link to the Utube channel of making a table runner. I watched it and enjoyed it. Good luck grammaSharon I know your GS will enjoy the table runner you make with batting.
