NZQuilter, congratulations on your wonderful news! How close together in age are your little girls? I suspect you are a very busy woman. Congrats again!

Thank you! Yes, I'm busy but I won't have it any other way. All the girls are about 20 months apart, but at least they aren't all in diapers together! They all play fairly nicely together, most of the time, and they can't wait for the new baby.

Today is dedicated to catching up with the mystery quilt. I do not think I will ever look at orange and black the same way again.

Congrats, NZ, that is wonderful news!!! Your girls will have a real life baby doll, boy or girl!
Hav4, I know what you mean. When I did the Steeler Nation quilt in yellow & black I thought I'd go blind & had bee nightmares!
Looking forward to pics of your mystery quilts.
hugs,
dj

I understand, I am really tired of Pink and purple but at least when I go into my 2.5 bag there is a clear lack of pink and purple. On the other hand, my month is September and I am sure that my pink and purple supply will be increased. Today, I found piles of 2.5's that got in the incorrect bag. So, I guess it is time for a major Huge-o-mungous 2.5 in scrappy to eat up my supply. I donated several to Project Linus yesterday. Got word they needed some for quilts for older children. Guess they will get a couple more candy quilts from me for August.

Started a new quilt made of 2.5's and a passel of white scraps. Photo later in the week. Made 100 four patches since last night! Now I am off for the week-end to visit my daughter that I have not seen since early December! Back to quilting on Monday!
