At the bottom of their home page there is a small button for "quilt week". That takes you to the announcement for closing all 2021 shows. They are really hurting their vendors.

It costs sooooo much money to plan a show and then cancel. Staff time, non-refundable deposits, advance payments for vendors of services such as food and facilities. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are running out of money and need to recoup,for a while; other organizations that hold large get together have had to do so also.

I think it's very sad and shows no hope. 95% of my guild of 150 plus members are going to retreats, taking classes at quilt shops, going anywhere quilt related that is open. Those few who don't have health issues or spouses that do. I just came home from a quilt retreat last week. I don't think losing up to 20% of audience who won't be around people would be that much of a loss for events as the restrictions are getting less strict in most states. I think so many vendors that depend on the quilt shows for their livelihood will go out of business leaving even less to fill the vendor spots when the shows reopen. Vendor fees are the money makers for the shows. Isn't the release of the vaccine in a couple of months suppose to lift all public bans once it is available to the public regardless of who chooses to take it or not? It's a mess.

Covid is just too virulent and unpredictable. My next door neighbors all have it now. They are as careful as the next person but still caught it.
The husband and wife are very sick.
I wouldn't take the chance on something that big. (meaning quilt shows)

most of the quilt shops up here are still doing classes.....but they are using zoom....I plan on taking my embroidery class via zoom in november......actually....I hope they continue to do at least some zoom classes after this pandemic is under control. I live in northern minnesota. and it is no fun in the winter to drag my stuff out to the cold, cold car after shoveling a path to my car and creeping along ice covered roads to the quilt shop, then looking out the window at all the snow coming down and wondering if I should stay for the entire class, then creeping home, shoveling my way back to the house and dragging all my stuff back in....they are even thinking that the poor students will no longer have "snow days" anymore because of the all the hybrid class going on...they will just switch to online on those snowy days.
