Default More questions about Pfaff creative 4.5 and transferring designs

This has been an ongoing problem...I have a new Windows 10 laptop...I’ve downloaded the complimentary Pfaff software which I thought would allow me to transfer via the cable (not a fan of using a USB). Also updated my machine to check that the cable is functioning. When I try to transfer a design with SEND TO there isn’t another drive showing up like there would be if I use a USB. Any ideas out there? Would there be a driver I need to update? I don’t see anything obvious. Thank you for any advice you can offer...this is driving me crazy!😊

Join a Pfaff group at Group.io and they can help you. Another idea is to call Pfaff support. They have a toll-free telephone number.

If you attach your machine to your computer, turn your machine on. It should now be showing on your computer as a drive. Same as if you put a USB in your computer.

Were you able to get the cable issue resolved?

I transfer designs onto a USB for the embroidery machine. You load each design one by one. Don't put them in a folder on the USB. I keep a designated one for designs only. Hope that helps!
