Default Done at last

I have really enjoyed all your interpretations of Bonnie's Grassy Creek quilts and how you have made them your own. You have all done a marvelous job!!! Since this was my very first mystery quilt and I loved her choice of fall colors, I went with her colors. Everything came from my stash except the grays. I was pretty done with strip piecing the sashing, but still had so many strips left that I decided to bite the bullet and do the diagonal strip sets (mountains) for the borders. It was a real challenge for me doing such accurate piecing & assembly, and keeping up each week, but I'm so glad I did it and am pleased with the result.

EmiliasNana, that is a gorgeous quilt, and the border was well worth the effort -- it looks wonderful!

I've loved following along with this mystery - everyone's work is beautiful. Here is my version of Grassy Creek - made for a friend with her color choices and design changes.
