Default looking for a pattern

I have seen a quilt that I want to make but not coming up with a pattern. The woman who has the quilt thinks it was in a magazine. It could be a pinwheel or windmills--no luck with those words. It has 6 blades but the next blade nests right next to the blade of the previous "wheel". They are not individual blocks and I think that's where I'd run into trouble trying to recreate a pattern. Anyone have a suggestion as to either a name to search or the actual pattern for this?

Can you post a photo of the quilt, it would help a lot.

Is it anything like this one? It only uses HSTs, but there is a link to the free pattern.
I can't imagine your quilt only having 6 blades.

Try Googling Tesselating quilt patterns to see if you spot it.

Maybe look for 6 pointed star quilts? There are lots on Pinterest.

Without a picture it will be hard to find the pattern.

In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?

Don't forget to enlarge the pop up screen to find the upload tab which is on the far right of the window. This is what confuses a lot of posters.
And I have to select GO ADVANCED reply to find the paperclip icon to click. It is the most complicated to post pictures here then other forums.

Could it be a One Block Wonder quilt? Those and the kaleidoscope stack and whack quilts are the main ones I think of with 6 blades in the blocks.

And no, I didn't make this one, just a pretty one I found on the Internet and am going to use for my inspiration.
