Default Please Help with quilting design ideas!

I hope the photo turns out. I had to resize....Anyway this is a baby Whale quilt. Please help me with a quilting design you think would look good. I was thinking of ocean waves or water designs. I will be free-motion quilting on my domestic sewing machine. Thank you for your ideas.

Your whale quilt is so cute. I like the idea of ocean waves. A friend made a quilt with fish, and quilted it using waves.

Simply adorable...yes, waves would be perfect. I have never used minky on the front of a quilt, only on the backing. How easy or difficult was it yo piece?

Your quilt and s so darling! And the texture on the whales is sweet! In my mind I see Seaweed! Making seaweed strands all over I think would be easy on a domestic machine be and cute too.

Please share photos when it’s finished. It really is such a darling quilt!

I like your idea of ocean waves. You may want to include a water release through their blow holes for something different that could be a real fun design element.

    That is just too cute!!

Waves (just wavy lines) would be perfect.

Very cute! Waves would look good. Do you plan to do edge to edge waves or outline stitch the whales and bubbles? Either way would be great.

That is so adorable! did you piece the circles in or applique them on? how was it working with the minky?
I would echo around the whales and bubbles and maybe add some interest at the blow hole spouts. otherwise some kind of wavy/water design would be great!

    That's adorable.

I like this quilting (see the picture). It looks wavy and would be a snap to do on your domestic.

Adorable, I would just do wavy lines all over.
