Quilt made by Jane A. Stickles - aka as "The Dear Jane Quilt"
Is anyone working on these any more?
I started making blocks several years ago - and that project stalled out.
Anyway, I'm sort of interested in starting on it again.

I'm working on one right now, I've got about 4 or 5 rows completed and some of the triangles. There is a FB group that does a block a week and I jumped in on that to keep me going. It's called Jane Stickle Quilt Group.

I've started it several times. Have the book and the computer program. Everything is ready. Are you starting again? Maybe we can lean on each other. I have a friend who was making it in reds and whites. I was making it scrappy batiks.

Finished mine ... Dear Jane Sings the Blues!!
White constant background, with every block a different blue fabric.
Included some non-DJ blocks, as ones that had meaning to me.
So have some surplus blocks for a 2nd DJ variation with.
Just can't decide what sort of a layout I will use.
But am getting close to getting going on ....... Blue Jane Too!

We started several years ago, got stalled and only just re-started in 2021. She picked up where she left off, I started completely new as I realized part of my "stall" was I didn't really like my fabric choices at the time. The batiks are keeping me enthused!

Thanks Toverly ... I am never good at the quilt name game, but this time, that one just made sense. Along with the follow up one, though it may change as I work on it. Wish I could post photos of my DJ, but ........!
