I am the top dilly dallier and lollygagger! I did pet the fabric today. Felt like a tsunami at my house today with everything that had to be dealt with, so no sewing today. My goal is to fling the flimsy on Friday.

And btw, this is really, really hard! No idea seems to get me singing and make me feel absolutely positive that it is the right thing to do. I think auditioning is definitely the way to go. My ideas aren't scaling properly. I am going to have to do some revising on paper before I start cutting.

1charmshort -- I am going to be checking for upright positioning of completed tester blocks if I lose any. That is one lucky charm! Save it for something special. Reminds me about coins never landing up on edge.

Thank you for the reminder WesternWilson.

I am envious that ShawneeOR and Peckish live so close to one another. I see the beginnings of a tea party happening in their future.

Ok Herdles -- have a great night and a great week. I'm off to try to redraw some tester blocks.

Default Ready to pass

I’ve finished my additions. I don’t know that’s it is “right” but I think I like it. 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Hopefully it will work. ❤️

Shawnee -- if you like it, it is RIGHT!!!

Sorry, ya'll, for misspelling Hurtles. It's been a day and a half. I am beginning to think I have covid-brain again.

I agree.. if you like it Shawnee, it's right.

And Ibex...maybe it was me that misspelled that word.

I hope to be flinging this flimsy before the end of this next week.

Shawnee, I mailed more fabrics that I used in the starter block. Could you please combine them when you send it along? If you have already done so please let me know so that I can reimburse you for postage.
This is not to say use it, I just wanted to add more incase anyone wants to. Hope you are having fun with it 🙃 and thank you.

I can't wait to see it! I hope my addings generate that same WoW factor!

I know a couple of you found Dunsters log cabin-based quilt in the board but in case you need a quick link to see it, everyone really will love another glimpse: https://www.quiltingboard.com/vbulle...r-t139982.html

OmG that log cabin is amazing. I took pictures of the blocks, not too often something really really catches my eye but that quilt is spectacular. Storm at Sea has been on my bucket list for so many years I can’t remember but a log cabin/storm at sea ?? I’m doing it at some point.
