    Hi
I am in need of sewing needles for hand sewing bindings. I was wondering what brand of needles everyone uses.
    Thanks a bunch

I use betweens, a size 10 or 12. And I use a double thread, to make them stronger, with a blind stitch.

My Mom found a bunch of packages of Sewing Susan needles. There are all sizes in each pack. I finish a quilt and don't feel guilty to throw the needle away.

I buy size 10 Straw needles. Love them. They are very long and thin so easy to sew with and yes I use them to put bindings on. I use #10 betweens to hand quilt. marge

I love the straw needles for working on such things as binding. I feel that there thinness (sp) helps in penetrating the cloth so much easier.
